ICE defends shooting of man in car with child

US immigration officials defended ICE agents who shot and wounded Oscar Belgal, 28, in his car in New York on Thursday while his five-year-old son was in the back seat. DHS chief Markwayne Mullin said officers fired while arresting a man with a criminal history and did not know the child was present. Belgal survived and is detained; New York officials condemned the shooting.
