Thailand's Queen Suthida made her first solo flight in a fighter jet, the Thai Royal Household said. She flew a Gripen on 8 October from an airfield in Surat Thani province, with King Maha Vajiralongkorn watching from the ground. An experienced pilot since 2010, she has logged about 1,188 hours and co-piloted aircraft on official visits.
