CAF president Patrice Motsepe said the body is reviewing its decision to hold the Africa Cup of Nations every four years, leaving open a return to a biennial format from 2028. Speaking at a strategy conference in Cape Verde, he rejected claims CAF takes orders from FIFA or UEFA. He confirmed the 2027 AFCON will proceed in Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda.
