Delhi Police detained hundreds of protesters, including Cockroach Janta Party founder Abhijeet Dipke and associates, ahead of a banned rally demanding Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar's resignation over electoral roll revisions. Tens of thousands of security personnel sealed Jantar Mantar and key roads, with mobile internet suspended and metro stations shut. Police cited inadequate notice and public safety concerns.
