Prakash Rajpurohit Appointed Deputy Election Commissioner

The Centre has appointed Prakash Rajpurohit as Deputy Election Commissioner, succeeding Sanjay Kumar, until April 8, 2030. The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet also approved 27 joint secretary-level appointments across ministries, including Vivek Khare as Joint Secretary, NTA, and Varnali Deka at the National Health Authority. Govind Jaiswal was prematurely repatriated to his parent cadre.
