At least 109 migrants, including 15 children, died and 116 are missing after an overcrowded boat carrying 350 people capsized off Djibouti overnight on October 8-9. The vessel was heading from Djibouti to Yemen when it sank north of Obock. More than 80 Ethiopian nationals survived; the IOM is assisting 64 at its Obock centre as search and rescue operations continue.
