Brite Ranch heirs agree to split 65,000-acre estate

Four heirs of West Texas's historic Brite Ranch have agreed to divide the 65,000-acre property rather than sell it, settling an eight-year legal battle that began in 2018 over trust management and income distribution. The ranch, valued at $60 million or more, will be split among Jim White, Mac White, Hester Ann White and Geoffrey Connor, pending court approval.
