Certified PERM applications at 13 major IT services companies fell to 607 in the first nine months of FY26, down from 1,670 in FY25 and 1,756 in FY24, per Kotak Institutional Equities. The drop precedes Washington's suspension of new and pending PERM filings involving TCS, Infosys, HCLTech, Wipro, Cognizant and Capgemini. TCS and Wipro each logged just two certifications.
