Man Utd boss Carrick defiant amid worst start since 1986

Manchester United manager Michael Carrick has defended his squad after a 1-1 draw with Tottenham left the club with six points from six Premier League games, their worst top-flight start since 1986. United have won two of eight matches in all competitions and sit 13th. Carrick said he believes the team will come through the difficult run.
