The IMF has raised India's FY27 growth forecast to 7% from 6.4%, citing resilient domestic demand and robust services activity despite higher oil prices and Middle East tensions. It also lifted the FY28 projection to 7% from 6.7%. The upgrade follows an upward revision by the RBI to 7.1%, after India's economy grew 7.8% in the first quarter.
