CJI Surya Kant: Keep Supreme Court Out of Political Protests

Chief Justice Surya Kant said the Supreme Court should not be dragged into political battles, insisting protests stay peaceful and not block courts, lawyers or litigants. His remarks came as Opposition leaders marched toward the court amid protests against CEC Gyanesh Kumar. The court will hear petitions on restrictions and alleged police excesses on Tuesday.
