Greta Thunberg Joins French Student Protests in Paris

Greta Thunberg joined protesting students outside Lycée Paul Éluard in Saint-Denis on Tuesday, as France entered a third week of nationwide demonstrations over teacher shortages, overcrowded classes and crumbling school buildings. Lawyers formed a human chain to protect pupils after allegations of police brutality. Unions and left-wing parties back the movement, with marches expected in Paris and other cities.
