Rwanda has signed a 10-year deal with Formula 1 to host the African Grand Prix on a new circuit in Bugesera, near Kigali, starting in the early 2030s. It will be Africa's first F1 race since 1993. The deal has drawn criticism from Amnesty International over sportswashing concerns.
