Yemen's internationally recognised government conducted nine air strikes on Houthi positions in Taiz governorate on Tuesday, as fighting continues in the southwest. A rights group accused the Houthis of killing five civilians and injuring 17 in the past 24 hours. The escalation follows a Houthi ground offensive on Mocha in September and recent missile attacks on Saudi Arabia.
