Delhi Police Denotified Jantar Mantar as Protest Site, HC Told

Delhi Police told the High Court on Tuesday that Jantar Mantar was denotified as a designated protest site following Supreme Court directions. The submission came during a hearing on an Indian Youth Congress plea seeking permission to protest against Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar over alleged irregularities in the SIR exercise. The court issued notice on the plea for reconsideration, with the matter to be heard in November.
