Manjit Singh Sidhu, former Officer on Special Duty to Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, joined the Congress in Chandigarh on Tuesday in the presence of Punjab Congress president Pargat Singh. A former journalist who joined AAP in 2014 and helped shape its media strategy, Sidhu's exit is seen as a setback for AAP ahead of the 2027 Assembly elections.
