Billionaire Reform UK donor Sasan Ghandehari was the major investor in a fibre-optic venture partly owned by Astan Quds Razavi, an Iranian religious foundation under the supreme leader's authority, a French arbitration decision shows. His HP Trust ultimately owned Ori Group, which held 49% of the 2015 joint venture; the deal ended around 2016. Ghandehari's lawyers say his involvement aimed to promote political change through greater access to information.
