Raipur court grants CBI 8-day custody of Mahadev app kingpin

A Raipur special court on Wednesday granted the CBI eight-day custody of Saurabh Chandrakar, alleged kingpin of the Rs 6,000-crore Mahadev online betting app scam, after his extradition from Oman. The court also allowed the agency to take him to Delhi for questioning. The CBI took over the case from Chhattisgarh's economic offences bureau in December 2024.
