AP poll: voter fatigue with Trump drives Democratic midterm wave

Most voters are exhausted and exasperated by President Donald Trump after more than a decade at the center of U.S. politics, according to The AP Voter Poll of midterm voters in all 50 states. His failure to tame inflation, which worsened, weighed on Republicans as Democrats retook the House and Senate. About 7 in 10 voters said Congress provides insufficient checks on the president.
