Amul has raised ghee prices by up to ₹50 and table butter by ₹15 per 500-gram pack, citing higher milk production costs. A 1-kg ghee carton now costs ₹680, up from ₹630, while 500-gram butter rose from ₹310 to ₹325. The co-operative, owned by 36 lakh farmers, said revised-price stocks will reach markets nationwide.
