Israel's President Isaac Herzog has begun consultations with political parties on forming a government after last week's election produced no clear winner. Benjamin Netanyahu's right-wing bloc won 53 seats and rival Gadi Eisenkot's centrist bloc 48 in the 120-seat Knesset, while two Arab-led alliances took an unprecedented 19 seats. Herzog warned parties that not every promise can be fulfilled if they want to avoid another election.
