Danish students protest government cuts to student stipends

Thousands of students marched in Copenhagen against a government plan to scrap stipends for students from wealthier families, part of a wider European wave of youth protests. Organisers said up to 13,000 joined the rally, while about 40,000 students were on strike at 57 schools. The government says around 14,000 students would lose their allowances.
