Qualcomm will supply radio equipment, baseband units and software for SpaceX's planned nationwide terrestrial 5G network, with deployment expected to begin in 2027 across tens of thousands of US macro cell sites. The multi-year deal, which Qualcomm calls its biggest 5G agreement yet, positions Starlink Mobile to challenge AT&T, Verizon and T-Mobile. Financial terms were not disclosed.
