LIV Golf is set to announce on Thursday that it will wind down after financing firm BC Partners Credit withdrew support for a proposed revamped league. The breakaway circuit, launched in 2021 with more than $5bn from Saudi Arabia's PIF, filed for bankruptcy protection in September. An attorney is expected to tell a court hearing that the LIV 2.0 proposal is not viable.
