Russell Brand faces new rape investigations after conviction

Russell Brand is being investigated over two new rape complaints after a jury found him guilty of one count of rape and three counts of sexual assault at Southwark Crown Court. The Metropolitan Police detective who led the three-year inquiry said he hoped the verdicts would give other potential victims the courage to come forward. Brand was cleared of two rape counts and one attempted indecent assault charge.
