DRDO successfully flight-tested the indigenously developed Pralay quasi-ballistic missile off Odisha's coast on Thursday, firing it from Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Island during user evaluation trials. All test objectives were met, and the Defence Ministry said induction of the system is now imminent. The solid-propellant missile has a range of 150-500 km and carries conventional warheads.
