Iranian forces said at least five oil tankers and a tugboat caught fire in separate incidents in the Strait of Hormuz, with several vessels striking naval mines. The British military separately reported a tanker hit by two projectiles off Qatar. The incidents come amid fears of renewed US military action and ongoing Qatari mediation efforts.
