Fifteen-year-old Tanvi Patri became the first Indian woman to win a Youth Olympics badminton medal, taking silver in Dakar after an 82-minute final against China's Zhang Yi Xin. The Odisha shuttler saved five match points and held three of her own before falling 15-21, 21-13, 24-26 to the reigning world junior champion.
