Paraguay Senate Resumes Impeachment Against President Pena

Paraguay's Senate has resumed impeachment proceedings against President Santiago Pena, a day after he resigned over the collapse of Ueno Bank, which held $850m in public funds. Lawmakers accuse Pena of conflict of interest over his former stake in the bank's parent company. The crisis has left over half the population without account access and forced the central bank chief's resignation.
