Barnier warns UK against cherry-picking EU single market

Michel Barnier has warned Andy Burnham that Britain cannot rejoin the EU single market "à la carte", saying members would insist on all four freedoms, including free movement of people. The former Brexit negotiator told the BBC the door is open to EU membership but not to picking terms, and that a new British budget rebate is off the table.
