Pope Leo XIV holds first mass in Uruguay, urges unity

Pope Leo XIV led his first mass in Uruguay on Saturday, telling about 40,000 people at Paysandu's Paris London Park to be "bridge builders." The Vatican said 30,000 had registered in advance, with 10,000 more arriving despite rain. It is the first papal visit to Uruguay in nearly four decades, during a 12-day Latin America tour.
