Sudanese mothers face double displacement in Lebanon

Rufaida, a 28-year-old Sudanese mother, fled Sudan's civil war to Lebanon only to be displaced again by renewed conflict between Hezbollah and Israel. She lost her home in Khartoum and her father to the war. Now sheltering in a Beirut church with 250 others, including her infant son, she risks deportation for overstaying her visa. The Lebanon crisis has internally displaced 1.5 million people, including migrant workers.
