Indian killed in Black Sea ship attack

An Indian national was killed on July 18 when the commercial vessel MV OMORFI was attacked while transiting the Black Sea, reportedly in Russian territorial waters. The Ministry of External Affairs condemned the strike, calling it a serious threat to civilian seafarers and maritime navigation. Two other Indian crew members are safe. The incident follows a separate attack on July 19 that killed four Indians on the MV Golden Leo, prompting India to summon Russia's envoy.
