ICC prosecutor Karim Khan removed by member states

Member states of the International Criminal Court voted to dismiss prosecutor Karim Khan over sexual misconduct allegations, diplomatic sources said. Khan’s team claims the case is politicized retaliation for his pursuit of an arrest warrant against Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. The vote came nearly two years after the allegations emerged, amid heightened pressure on the ICC over its investigations involving Israel and the United States.
