Paramount Skydance Corp. and Warner Bros. Discovery Inc. have agreed not to close their $110 billion merger until June 2027, unless the legal fight over the deal is resolved sooner. The Trump administration approved the merger on June 12 without changes, but delays will cost Paramount about $7 million per day starting October 1, potentially exceeding $1.6 billion. If the deal falls through, Paramount owes another $7 billion. Trial proposals are due by the end of July.
