NTA sacks 47 officials after exam leak, begins overhaul

The National Testing Agency has terminated 47 officials and begun a major restructuring following the NEET-UG paper leak that forced nearly 20 lakh candidates to retake the exam. The first phase includes hiring four general managers and 16 young professionals via UPSC's Pratibha Setu portal, overseen by a K Radhakrishnan-led monitoring committee. Legal and criminal proceedings are expected against some terminated officials.
