Paramount delays Warner merger amid antitrust challenge

Paramount and Warner Bros. Discovery agreed to delay closing their $81 billion merger until June 2027 or a court ruling, after a judge flagged serious competition concerns. Twelve Democratic-led states, led by California, are pursuing an antitrust trial to block the deal, while the Trump administration's Justice Department has backed it.
