India Cabinet Approves Tougher Exam Leak Law

The Union Cabinet approved a draft bill to amend the Public Examinations Act, imposing up to 10 years' imprisonment and Rs 10 crore fine for exam paper leaks. The bill provides statutory backing for fast-track courts and mandates a five-month timeline for investigation and trial.
