Tej Pratap Backs Prashant Kishor in Bankipur Bypoll

Tej Pratap Yadav, president of the Janashakti Janata Dal, on Friday announced support for Jan Suraaj Party founder Prashant Kishor in the July 30 Bankipur Assembly by-election, urging the "right candidate" to win. Yadav also sought cooperation from RJD candidate Rekha Gupta. Kishor aims to break the BJP's over 15-year winning streak in the constituency, where BJP has fielded Neeraj Kumar Sinha. Yadav criticized the government over NEET paper leaks and education and healthcare issues.
