Indian seafarer killed in Black Sea ship attack

An Indian national was killed in an attack on the commercial vessel MV OMORFI on July 18 while transiting the Black Sea, reportedly in Russian territorial waters. Two other Indian crew members are safe. The Ministry of External Affairs condemned the attack, calling it a threat to maritime navigation and global commerce. The incident follows a July 19 attack on MV Golden Leo that killed four Indians.
