UN urges India to protect peaceful protesters

The United Nations called on Indian authorities to allow peaceful protests without fear of harassment, arrest, or injury, amid student demonstrations at New Delhi's Jantar Mantar over the NEET-UG paper leak. The protests, led by the Cockroach Janta Party, have lasted nearly a month, leaving hundreds injured and demanding the education minister's resignation. At least 21 students have died by suicide since the leak.
