Zydus Lifesciences suspends Ahmedabad ops due to rain

Zydus Lifesciences temporarily suspended some operations at its Ahmedabad facilities as a precautionary measure due to torrential rain and waterlogging. The company said operations have begun resuming as weather conditions improve. The heavy rains have affected several parts of Gujarat, prompting relief operations, with over 40,000 evacuated and five deaths reported.
