Pralhad Joshi takes additional charge of Education Ministry

President Droupadi Murmu accepted Dharmendra Pradhan's resignation from the Union Council of Ministers following weeks of protests over the NEET-UG paper leak. Cabinet Minister Pralhad Joshi, who oversees Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution, and New and Renewable Energy, has been assigned additional charge of the Education Ministry. Joshi now faces the immediate challenge of restoring trust in India's examination system and implementing National Education Policy 2020 reforms.
