Trump renews tariff threats targeting EU, Canada, and others

US President Donald Trump threatened new tariffs on European Union goods in retaliation for a $1 billion fine on Google, and announced a 50% tariff on $20 billion of Canadian imports under a never-before-used trade law. He also warned of 100% duties on generic drug makers if they don't move production to the US, and imposed 25% tariffs on Brazil. The moves ended a quiet period after the Supreme Court struck down previous tariffs.
