Gymnast swaps USA for Sri Lanka to chase Olympic dream

Tiana Sumanasekera, a former US Olympic alternate who trained with Simone Biles, represented Sri Lanka at the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow despite a shoulder injury. Though she did not qualify for the balance beam final, the 18-year-old aims to compete at the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics, building on Sri Lanka's gymnastics progress since Tokyo 2020.
