Trump switched planes in Turkey over Iran proxy threat

Donald Trump switched from a Qatari-gifted Boeing 747-8 to the older Air Force One before departing Turkey earlier this month after US intelligence detected a credible missile threat from Iranian proxy forces. The threat emerged during the NATO summit in Ankara. The Secret Service recommended the change, as the older aircraft has more advanced defensive systems.
