Cockroach Janta Party Ends Protest After Minister Resigns

The Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) ended its month-long protest over exam paper leaks after Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan resigned. Announcing the withdrawal at a joint press conference with Union ministers Jitendra Singh and JP Nadda, CJP spokesperson Saurav Das said the government agreed to cancel police cases against student protesters. Singh emphasized the withdrawal takes effect immediately. The protest at Jantar Mantar included a 26-day hunger strike by activist Sonam Wangchuk. Pralhad Joshi has been given additional charge of the Education Ministry.
