Pralhad Joshi takes charge of Education Ministry amid NEET crisis

Pralhad Joshi has been given additional charge of the Union Education Ministry amid a credibility crisis triggered by the NEET-UG paper leak scandal. The senior BJP leader faces immediate challenges including restoring public trust in the examination system, strengthening the National Testing Agency, implementing the National Education Policy 2020, and steering a tougher anti-paper leak law through Parliament. He succeeds Dharmendra Pradhan and becomes the second education minister from Karnataka.
