Coast Guard rescues 170 amid Gujarat floods

The Indian Coast Guard rescued 170 people over three days in South Gujarat and Dadra and Nagar Haveli after relentless rainfall from July 22 caused widespread flooding. Operations included helicopter and ground rescues in villages, industrial areas, and riverside communities despite strong currents and low visibility. Notable rescues included 60 people from Welspun industrial area and five from Khanvel.
