PM Modi urges turning Catch the Rain into mass movement

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday urged citizens to turn the 'Catch The Rain' campaign into a mass movement, emphasizing rainwater harvesting, groundwater recharge, and revival of traditional water bodies. Addressing the 136th episode of 'Mann Ki Baat', he also highlighted the 'Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam' tree plantation drive, which saw over 35 crore saplings planted in Uttar Pradesh on July 12. Modi called for using clay Ganesh idols during Ganesh Utsav and encouraged support for handloom crafts ahead of National Handloom Day.
